Provenance

S. J. & E. Fellows were based down in Wolverhampton in the 1960's and specialised in 'metal pressings' amongst other things. Hardly surprising then, that the Ministry of Defence (MOD) chose them to make sets of cooking pans to fit the No. 12 Field Cooker which seems to have been designed for use by tank and armoured car crews, being too large for troops on the ground and , rather conveniently, running on diesel which such vehicles would have in abundance.
Not quite sure how we acquired this set of pans. They just seem to have appeared! It would be nice to have a No.12 stove though as they are selling for in excess of £100 on the internet in 2016, we might have to wait a while.
