Provenance

Named after Ed Leeper, a climber from Colorado, leepers have a unique 'Z' section with excellent holding power when placed correctly. They were - and still are - popular for winter climbing in Scotland as the two sharper edges of the 'Z' section 'bite' really well in icy cracks. This shorter version of the leeper is a copy of the original and we suspect, not such good quality. It's one of the many collected, and used by Mick Tighe over the years.
