Provenance

Named after Ed Leeper, a climber from Colorado, leepers have a unique 'Z' section with excellent holding power when placed correctly. They were - and still are - popular for winter climbing in Scotland as the two sharper edges of the 'Z' section 'bite' really well in icy cracks. This one is one of many collected, and used, by Mick Tighe during his years as a Mountain Guide.
