Provenance

In the modern world of LED lighting one wonders how a candle could produce enough light to show the way, but they manged as there was nothing else in the early days. Mick Tighe got this from a mountain guide friend in Switzerland where it had been used in one of the Alpine huts, probably made by a local blacksmith. Hard to put a date on it, but we'll take an educated guess at 1930.
