Richard Pontvert was a French boot manufacturer whose company, Galibier, produced some very high quality boots in the 1960/70’s. These Jannu Double Boots are a prime example.
A specialist boot designed for the high mountains, the modern day mountaineer would wince at the weight of them.
Founder of the collection, Mick Tighe, acquired this pair somewhere, though he can’t remember where!
