Founder of the Scottish Mountain Heritage Collection, Mick Tighe, was a Royal Marine Commando back in the 1970's and became part of the Marine's cross country ski team. Being reasonably fit and able to ski was one of the pre-requisites of joining the team, but it was essential to look good of course!!
With that in mind, Mick bought this racing suit at a shop in Narvik around 1974. It did the trick as he won a few races in it!
