Provenance

Very few folk repair their own tyres when they have a puncture these days ---- just put the spare wheel on and take the punctured one to a garage.
Things were a bit different in the early days of motoring to the mountains when punctures were very often repaired at the roadside with a repair outfit like this. We suspect the 'outfit' dates from the 1950's or 60's and we just love the tin -they don't make them like that anymore.
