Provenance

Founder member of The Scottish Mountain Heritage Collection, Mick Tighe, bought this lovely little water bottle and mug off the internet for 99p - unable to resist this quirky little item which no one else wanted to buy. Other than that we don't know much about it. It's very well made and the small cross on the logo- see photo - appears to be Swiss. Best guess then is that this was an old Swiss army issue water bottle with mug.
Good guess since we just googled "Swiss Army Water Bottle " and that's just what we've got here. They are caling it the Swiss Aluminium M32 canteen with cup - though rather confusingly some of them seem to be made in America!
