Think we can put these salopettes in the 'Gucci Gear' category. Mick Tighe bought them in Switzerland back in the 1980's when he was working there as a Mountain Guide. The stretchy Lycra material was excellent for climbing, allowing for good freedom of movement when climbing, though there was/is little or no warmth in the material which was a major drawback when working in the high mountains. We assume they are Swiss made by a company called Trekking though this might be a brand name for a larger company. They are very well made and in excellent condition.
