Simple is perhaps the best way to describe this pack frame. Our old friend, and fellow collector, Art McCarthy, sent it over from America and we reckon the postage cost twice as much as the frame is worth!
Obviously homemade, it is rather nice in its simplistic way and conjures up pictures of some back country homesteader carrying provisions around on his/her back, or maybe a gold digger up in the Yukon! Think it just about makes it into the 'folk art' category and it has certainly made it into our collection.
