Pair of 12 point crampons with neoprene straps.
metal, neoprene
33(L) x 11(W) cms
1 pair
silver, black
We can’t find any markings on this rather odd pair of crampons, though one could be forgiven for thinking that they were made from a Meccano Set. They date from the 1970’s when the donator, Sam Crymble, used them briefly when working as an instructor at Scotland’s National Outdoor Centre, Glenmore Lodge, though he can’t remember where he got them from.
They have been fitted with a pair of neoprene straps which we don’t think are original. An interesting and rather puzzling addition to our ever growing collection of crampons.
