Provenance

Mountaineer, Mo Anthoine and legendary rock climber, Joe Brown, teamed up in the 1960’s to create Snowdon Mouldings; the idea being that Snowdon Mouldings (SM) would produce outdoor gear to sell in Joe’s shops and elsewhere.
SM had a wee factory in Llanberis, North Wales, which produced a variety of gear, most notably the Curver Ice Axe and the Joe Brown (JB) helmet.
The Limpet tent here in the collection was another of their products which enjoyed some popularity.
This one is in pretty poor condition but is a nice little piece of history whatever.
