Provenance

Charlie and Mary Parsons created the Karrimor Bag Company in 1946 to make cycle bags for their Rawtenstall cycle shop. Various changes in the market over the next couple of decades led to a decline in the cycling fraternity which prompted a move into the rucksack market.
Thousands of rucksacks subsequently flowed out of the Karrimor factory, each aimed at a specific type of outdoor person and each bearing a specific name, often of a mountain or mountain range. In this case the Pamir Mountains of Tajikistan.
Not exactly sure where we got this sack from but another wee addition to our ever growing collection of Karrimor items.
