These ski pants are a little confusing as they seem to be made by ‘Laddies’ so we are not sure if they are for laddies or ladies … the cut and design favours the latter.
Helanca is a synthetic fabric made from a form of polyester which makes it stretchy and therefore ideal for items such as this fine pair of lady’s ski pants. We reckon they date from the 1960’s, though it doesn’t look as if they have ever been used.
Unfortunately, we have lost the details of the donor but thanks in abstentia for another fine addition to our ever growing clothing collection.
