Provenance

Our good friend, Philip Coates, gave us this little set of camping gear which he used as a boy in the 1950’s when out camping with his dad.
The advert opposite comes from a 1940’s George Grose Camping Catalogue and sets the timeline nicely..
The glass lined butter boxes at 1/3d translates to 7p in today’s currency.
We just need to see if we can find some of the other advertised items to compliment the set.
