Edelrid?
Rock climbers have been drilling holes in the rock to make anchors for decades and whilst it is frowned upon in UK climbing circles, the cliffs of Europe are festooned with them.
Early bolters drilled a hole and secured the bolt with glue, adding a hanger into which a karabiner could be clipped. Various forms of expansion bolts followed and electric drills soon replaced the hand held variety.
We’ve a fine example of an early hand held rock drill here in the collection. The strap is by Elderid but we are not sure if they made the whole thing since the rubber section is by Revex if France.
Check out the Troll Bolting Kit elsewhere in the collection for more information.
