We have a few other Titons in the collection but this No. 10 just arrived from our fellow collector, Art McCarthy, over in California.
Bill Forrest started the Forrest Mountaineering empire in 1968 and created lots of new gear, some of which you will find elsewhere in our collection.
Titons were popular in America but very few made their way over to the UK and the invention of Friends and other large camming devices pretty soon condemned Titons to the history books , or in our case, Heritage Collections.
